Incorporates new FASB Pronouncements
US GAAP Taxonomy 2009 Addendum-1 Available for Use and for Public Review and Comment
Since December 31, 2008, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) has issued multiple US GAAP standards as codified. A number of these new standards are eligible for early adoption or effective for financial statements issued as of and for annual and interim periods ending on or prior to December 31, 2009.
To accommodate those public companies that need to use these new accounting standards, XBRL US has developed over 200 new elements that are now available in the US GAAP Taxonomy 2009 Addendum-1 posted here. The new elements are also available for comment during a public review period that will end on release of the US GAAP Taxonomy 2010. The XBRL US GAAP Taxonomy 2009 Addendum-1 posted here includes all the new elements related to the newly issued FASB standards and imports the entire US GAAP Taxonomy 2009. These elements will be incorporated into the XBRL US GAAP Taxonomy 2010.
You can view and comment on the taxonomy by going to the Review and Comment page.
