XBRL US Data Quality Committee Publishes Guidance on Cash Flow, Principles for Element Selection, & New Rules for SEC Filers

XBRL US announced that the Data Quality Committee (DQC) has published guidance for tagging the Statement of Cash Flow, along with two new automated rulesets, to help issuers prepare their XBRL financial statements, in addition, to Guiding Principles for Element Selection.


XBRL US Data Quality Committee Public Exposure of 14th Ruleset for US GAAP and IFRS Filers

XBRL US announced the start of its 14th Public Exposure of Data Quality rules, and the approval of the 13th Ruleset. The Committee is responsible for developing guidance and validation rules that can prevent or detect inconsistencies or errors in XBRL data filed with the SEC and focuses on data quality issues that adversely affect data analysis.
