Global Legal Identifier Foundation (GLEIF)

The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) is tasked to support the implementation and use of the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). The foundation is backed and overseen by the Regulatory Oversight Committee (ROC). The ROC represents public authorities from around the globe that have come together to increase transparency in global markets, and strengthen the fight against financial crime and corporate fraud. GLEIF is a supra-national not-for-profit organization headquartered in Basel, Switzerland.

The national consortium for
the business reporting standard

XBRL US is a not-for-profit organization supporting the implementation of digital reporting standards for business and government through the development of taxonomies for use by U.S. public and private sectors, with a goal of interoperability between sectors, and by promoting XBRL adoption through marketplace collaboration.
