The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) notified filers that XBRL submissions can begin October 1, 2021, to meet the first FERC XBRL deadline of December 31 for Q3-2021 submissions. They also noted that starting October 1, issuers will no longer be able to submit a Visual FoxPro filing because only the XBRL submission platform will be available.
The notification also pointed out that filings submitted starting October 1 will be available to the public through a FERC-supplied RSS feed.
