XBRL US Webinar || Watch / listen to replay

Starting as early as December 2017, foreign private issuers must begin filing their financials with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in XBRL format. The US GAAP Financial Reporting Taxonomy and the IFRS Taxonomy have certain key differences that XBRL tool and service providers, as well as data aggregators, need to understand.

All data providers and XBRL tool and service providers should attend this second deep dive webinar into the IFRS Taxonomy and the SEC rule. This one-hour session will provide demonstrations of IFRS XBRL instance documents and the IFRS Taxonomy, plus responses to questions about the rule and how to tag using the IFRS Taxonomy. Attendees have an opportunity to submit their own questions to SEC representatives. We’ve also posted an IFRS Resources page with related webinar replays and links provided by the SEC and IASB.

Speakers:

  • Jill Davis, Associate Chief Accountant, Division of Corporation Finance – Office of the Chief Accountant, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
  • Walter Hamscher, Senior IT Program Manager, Office of Structured Disclosure, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
  • Campbell Pryde, President and CEO, XBRL US (moderator)

This event is free to attend, with an option to participate and earn 1 CPE for $49 ($39 XBRL US Members) – look for details in the registration confirmation.
