Public companies gathered in Bellevue, WA in September, 2014 to learn about the next phase in XBRL reporting.
Attendees got information on new developments in accounting standards including Revenue Recognition, Discontinued Operations and Disposal Groups. They learned about recent, significant US GAAP Taxonomy changes in Pensions and Fair Value.
This year's program emphasized two key themes:
- Creating XBRL Data through best practice and new tools; and
- Using XBRL Data to learn how regulators, auditors, public companies and your own shareholders use corporate XBRL data.
