A 30-day public exposure period began March 5 for the XBRL US Taxonomy Approval and Metrics Process (TAM) document which has been revised and updated by the Domain Steering Committee. The comment period closes on April 5. The TAM is designed to be used by developers as they build new taxonomies or update existing taxonomies, to facilitate the creation of consistent, high-quality, easy-to-use taxonomies. Developers, software providers, regulators and business professionals interested in building financial reporting taxonomies for use in the United States are encouraged to respond.
