The Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) announced plans to build an XBRL Taxonomy to support sustainability reporting. The release points out, “By providing a common language for disclosing financially material sustainability information, SASB Standards facilitate the communication of comparable, consistent, and reliable data.
