XBRL US submitted a comment letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in response to its Request for Comment on the Proposed Collection on Rule 17g-1 and Form NRSRO. The letter suggested that the SEC transition Form NRSRO to XBRL-CSV to satisfy requirements of the Financial Data Transparency Act (FDTA) and to leverage the greater efficiencies of the XBRL-CSV standard.
