XBRL US Webinar || Watch / listen to replay

SEC Small Reporting Companies and foreign private issuers will need to begin preparing their financials, including cover pages for Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 20-F, 40-F, and 8-K, using Inline XBRL starting with their first fiscal period after June 15, 2021.

XBRL service and tool providers have successfully helped large accelerated and accelerated filers prepare their EDGAR filings; and now are ready to help phase 3 filers with lessons learned and best practices. During this 2-part series, you’ll learn basics of the rule change, and fundamentals of Inline XBRL such as hidden tags, continuations and exclusions, and transformations.

Plus, find out what the SEC has observed from previously submitted Inline XBRL filings during a Q&A session with Julie Marlowe from the SEC’s Office of Structured Disclosure.

This is the first in a 2-part series on Inline XBRL and Cover page tagging. The second session will be held on May 26, 2021.

Speakers:

  • Lisa Cousino, Director, XBRL Consulting Services, Professional Standards and Best Practices, Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc.
  • Steven Horowitz, Manager of Technical Services and Web Applications, Novaworks LLC
  • Julie Marlowe, Assistant Director, Office of Structured Disclosure, Division of Economics and Risk Analysis, Securities and Exchange Commission
