The Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) has published their taxonomy and Structural Design document for the Voluntary Digital Financial Reporting project, for a 60-day public comment period that closes on November 1, 2026. The materials made available by the GASB at the link above include the taxonomy (as a zip file and downloaded into an Excel spreadsheet), and a detailed Discussion Memorandum that describes the taxonomy design.
