XBRL International published the OIM Taxonomy Model Requirements 1.0 for a public review period that closes February 16, 2026. The new OIM Taxonomy Specification streamlines and modernizes the XBRL specification with features that make it easier to implement data standards programs, produce data that is even more “AI-ready”, and make it easier for reporting entities to generate XBRL reports.
Data scientists, technologists, regulators, software developers, and data consumers are encouraged to review the Requirements and submit comments.
