The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that they have updated the EDGAR System to Release 26.3 and no longer support the 2024 GAAP Financial Reporting Taxonomy and SEC Reporting Taxonomy. In addition, the 2024 versions of the following taxonomies are no longer supported: Country (COUNTRY), Currency (CURRENCY), Document and Entity Information (DEI), and Exchanges (EXCH) taxonomies.

The SEC staff encourages companies to use the most recent version of taxonomy releases to take advantage of the most up-to-date tags related to new accounting standards and other improvements.
