Rule function

Purpose:

The rule checks that private company concepts are not used in public company filings. The elements were added in the US GAAP taxonomy to support SBSEF filings.

Conditions:

The rule checks if the filing is an SBSEF filing. If it is an SBSEF filing the rule is skipped. If the filing is not an SBSEF filing then the rule identifies any concepts with the string ‘PrivateCompany’ in the local name.

Problem solved by the rule

This rule ensures that public company filers are not using private company concepts.

Example rule message

A value of {$fact2} is reported for the concept {$fact2.concept.name} with in the filing. This element should not be used with a public company filing and should only be used by a private company reporting Form SBSEF. Please remove this fact or consider using a different element to represent the amount.
