Mission: Make XBRL easier to use and implement for governments, NGOs, educators and private concerns. Create and supplement documentation, standards, tools and databases for developers, preparers and consumers.
Task: Advise and direct the development of XBRL standards and supporting tools for XBRL within the United States. The advisory group would not be directly involved in taxonomy development or review but rather aid and advise in the development of tools and specification in support of taxonomy development, preparation, analysis and consumption of data.
