Toniic Institute

Toniic is the global action community for deeper impact investing. Impact investments seek to positively contribute to social and environmental issues while earning financial returns. Toniic’s members share a vision of a world in which all investments honor the planet and its inhabitants.

As part of its T100 longitudinal study of impact investors, Toniic created the Tracer impact portfolio management platform. Tracer enables investors, entrepreneurs, and funds to share and compare data about impact investments. Toniic is using XBRL to build an open API for the exchange of impact performance data alongside financial data.

The national consortium for
the business reporting standard

XBRL US is a not-for-profit organization supporting the implementation of digital business reporting standards through the development of taxonomies for use by U.S. public and private sectors, with a goal of interoperability between sectors, and by promoting XBRL adoption through marketplace collaboration.
